Iowa school districts will share $257 million in federal economic stimulus money that they can start to spend next month to save jobs and drive school reform over the next two years.

The 'stabilization' money is part of a federal law that aims to boost state economies and improve schools…

Jasper Journal (Tennessee) - TDOT to spend stimulus locally

Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said on Thursday they will use stimulus money to for a project in Marion County…

TDOT received $572 million for highway and bridge projects from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Flynn said the Marion County project is just one of many projects funded through the ARRA.

The town of Stanley will receive $100,000 in federal economic stimulus funds to fix its sewer system…

While the stimulus funding won't cover the total cost of rehabbing the system, the town is grateful for the assistance, he said.
