“I associate myself with the remarks of my colleagues about our commitment to Medicare and Medicaid – the pride we take in its introduction and becoming law 49 years ago. And I would continue the quote that Doris Matsui said about our seniors.”

Mr. Speaker, Americans want to know whether you support ending this bold program by deporting DREAMers, who arrived here as children and are part of the American experience in every way, and disrupt their families and communities.

Boehner and House Republicans just do not get it. The United States is experiencing what may be one of the worst wildfire seasons in our history – and yet, earlier today, they blocked legislation which would’ve addressed this matter.
