Pelosi Statement on Bipartisan Commission on Walter Reed, Military Hospitals

“Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on the poor care soldiers have received at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and other facilities:

‘Revelations of poor care of wounded soldiers and veterans at Walter Reed Army Medical Center have shocked the nation. The brave men and women who were the recipients of this mistreatment already paid a heavy price in our country’s service. Instead of having their needs made a national priority, they became victims of the Administration’s pattern of neglect.”
