This week Republicans continued to double down on their trickle-down priorities at the expense of the middle class, with the latest completely unpaid-for, permanent, deficit-exploding tax measure.

Last night, 30 House Republicans voted against an amendment offered by Rep. Tammy Duckworth to strip a provision from the NDAA that would have blocked predatory lending protections for American servicemembers and their families.

But in order for America to be number one in all of this we have to invest in education, and we have the invest in the infrastructure of expanding broadband so that everyone is included.

A new Gallup poll released today highlights that the Affordable Care Act is working: the uninsured rate has dropped to 11.9 percent – 5.2 points lower than it was at the end of 2013 – and millions more Americans now have affordable, quality health care.

This callous budget will result in more hardship for America’s middle class and hard-working families. And don’t take our word for it…
